This is a long-term opportunity with a potential for permanent hire. The selected candidate will be provided with an on-site vehicle, although they must initially drive their personal vehicle to collect the company vehicle.

TEKsystems is a leading provider of telecommunications construction services, specializing in both OSP and Inside Plant (ISP) projects. They have a strong presence in the Mid-Atlantic region and have recently expanded into new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all internal teams and contractors adhere to deadlines.
  • Conduct site surveys and walks to assess project requirements.
  • Engage in vendor management and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and quality control reports to project managers and clients.
  • Utilize project management software and Excel for tracking progress and reporting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications OSP construction.
  • Proficient in conducting site evaluations and managing project timelines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with various teams.

This role requires a proactive individual who can take initiative and escalate issues when necessary. The Construction Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the success of projects through collaboration and effective management of resources.

Work Environment:

The position offers a balanced work environment, with approximately 50% office work and 50% fieldwork. Once acclimated, there may be opportunities for remote work flexibility.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, along with a background in cabling. Experience with fiber splicing and coaxial systems is advantageous.
