Job Description
The Bell Attendant is responsible for creating a positive first impression of our guests' arrival experience. This includes welcoming guests, introducing them to the reception team, and assisting with baggage. They must be able to disseminate information to achieve guest satisfaction and quality service, while complying with company and Forbes standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists incoming and outgoing guests with their luggage, explaining features of the room and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Promotes hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests to increase guest satisfaction and maximize hotel revenues.
  • Delivers guest mail, messages, toiletries, and miscellaneous items in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Sets up guest amenities and follows through on additional requests by collaborating with teams involved.
  • Provides accurate local directions to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensures baggage is secured and correctly tagged at guest request.
  • Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments, or leaders at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must be available to work all shifts and be flexible based on business needs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record are necessary.
  • Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort, is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods is required.

Estimated Salary Range: $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience and location.
