The AMR organization offers a unique opportunity for experienced paramedics to join their team in Monterey County. This role involves providing advanced patient care during emergency responses, with a focus on delivering high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing emergency situations and determining the best course of action.
- Utilizing medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced care, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and IV fluids.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and allied health professionals.
- Leading the paramedic team and managing scene and unit operations.
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining strong community relations through participation in local programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Active CA State Paramedic License.
- CA State Driver's License.
- Medical Examiners Certificate.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, or PEPP certification.
- Driving record compliant with company policy.
- Pass Physical Agility Test.
- Some work experience in healthcare preferred.
