We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our complex boiler plant, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain boilers, engines, and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Monitor and control boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels, and activate valves as needed.
- Perform routine safety checks and maintain accurate logs and records of operations and maintenance activities.
- Support the overall maintenance of patient rooms and the interior/exterior of the work environment, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Advanced knowledge of boilers, gauges, and valves.
- 3-5 years of general maintenance experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
- Previous boiler operator experience in a healthcare environment.
- Blue Seal or Red Seal or Gold Seal operating engineer license.
