Job Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Director will play a key role in the success of WestRock's Devens, MA Corrugated Container facility. This position is responsible for providing hands-on expertise and leadership to the service and maintenance staff while ensuring the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant assets.
About the Role
This is a strategic leadership position that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement of plant operations to enable efficient, high-quality production of customer products.
$145,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance strategies to enable operating efficiency in alignment with WestRock's values.
- Create maintenance department safety goals and plans to ensure a safe work environment.
- Supervise and inspect maintenance work to ensure the most effective, efficient, and up-to-date technology and preferred maintenance practices are implemented by craftsmen.
- Manage and analyze maintenance department KPIs to assess operating efficiency and identify opportunities to drive performance excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum of 10-15 years in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience of maintenance engineers.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to hold your team accountable to the highest safety and work standards.
- Your Fireman's license or the willingness to acquire one at company expense.
