Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Assist patients with completing forms and provide necessary support during medical procedures.
  • Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software, adhering to company policies.
  • Answer multiple phone lines and schedule appointments, accommodating patient needs.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and perform clerical tasks as needed.
  • Maintain procedure rooms, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures and prepare patients for procedures.
  • Ensure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and provide medication information as needed.
  • Prepare IV solutions and apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations.
  • Train new staff and assist ultrasound staff as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED, required
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), preferred
  • Medical Assistant Certification, preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills and strong computer skills
