Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an interdisciplinary team of professionals and paraprofessionals in the classroom, providing direction and guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Supervise and direct the work of classroom education staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with parents, school districts, and other agencies to ensure that student needs are met and goals are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Initial NYS Certification in Special Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education and (currently pursuing Masters) required; Masters degree in Special Education preferred
  • At least 18 years old
  • Able to lift 50 pounds independently
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with students with multiple disabilities
  • Creative and energetic approach to teaching and learning

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $26.56 - $30.81 per hour, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
