Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wound Healing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary wound care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality skin and wound care services to patients in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams
  • Travel to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds and house calls
  • Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Perform bedside wound care skills, including wound assessment, dressing application, and minor surgical procedures
  • Track the progress of wound healing and document timely in UWH's EMR

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in working state
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license
  • 1-2 years of wound care and/or surgical experience (highly preferred)
  • Punctuality, dependability, and ability to work/schedule appointments independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication
