Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
Unit: ICU
Floating Required: To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
EMR Exp: EPIC
Requirements:
Must live 75 Miles away from facility
Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.
2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN References
Skills Checklist matching specialty
Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License
Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
Heart experience HIGHLY preferred

Beds:
42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6, Surg/Trauma: 14
Common patient diagnosis:
Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx
Drips and medications:
Pressors- Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin,Dobutamine & Dopamine, Vasodilators- Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG,Anti-arrhythmics- Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lido Sedation- Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl,TPN and Insulin
Specialty equipment used on unit:
IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
