Veterinary Technician Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our Internal Medicine department in Cary, NC. As a leader in our team, you will be responsible for mentoring and training lower-level staff, coaching team members to anticipate and address patient and client needs, and working with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback and leadership to develop performance improvement plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of veterinary technician experience, 2+ years of leadership experience, RVT or VTS preferred.
