Crisis Support Specialist

We are seeking dedicated Community Living Instructors to deliver tailored psychiatric support to individuals facing behavioral health challenges at our regional Crisis Stabilization Center (CSC). The care provided will be customized to meet the unique requirements of each individual at the CSC. This role operates under the direct guidance of the local CSC Triage Clinician Lead. Training will focus on interventions aimed at delivering suitable care for adults with diverse needs, cognitive capabilities, and diagnoses.

Weekend Availability: Saturday & Sunday 7:00 am - 7:30 pm

Key Responsibilities Include:


• Providing compassionate care to individuals in behavioral health crises

• Engaging with individuals to ensure their comfort and that their daily needs are met while maintaining safety oversight

• Completing a minimum of 52 educational activities annually

• Offering constructive feedback to enhance patient care to the direct supervisor

• Participating in mandatory overtime as required

• Serving as a mentor and preceptor for new team members as necessary

• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team by sharing patient insights and recommendations

• Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues
