About the Role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join its Cortex team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and strategic guidance to the Cortex business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for the Cortex business, incorporating analytical rigor to support planning and decision-making processes.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs in team planning, investment, and operational strategies to optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate closely with Cortex leadership to derive insights, shape strategy, and drive actionable takeaways that align with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of concern.
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics (or similar) preferred.
  • 7+ years of related experience with evidence of career progression.
  • Prior SaaS experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and subscription-based revenue models.
  • Analytical problem solver with the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize large amounts of data in order to drive effective and efficient executive decision-making.
