Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Millennia Housing Management. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our residential properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting common areas and resident units.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
  • Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment and tools, including vacuums, mops, and brooms.
  • Assist with snow removal, litter pick-up, and other groundskeeping duties as needed.
  • Record and report any maintenance or repair issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in maintenance, custodial, or groundskeeping role preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand written work orders and instructions.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and repair defective system components.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Work Environment

This position requires regular and predictable attendance, with occasional travel to other properties as needed. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
