Applicants must possess a valid license in the State of Ohio as RCIS or RT(R, CV), with a preference for candidates who have a minimum of three years of experience in catheterization procedures. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are essential.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
This is a full-time position with day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role includes a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends, requiring a 30-minute response time. On-call accommodations are available.
Compensation ranges from $26.74 to $36.33 per hour, depending on experience, with an additional $4 per hour for on-call duties. If called in, the pay rate is 1.5 times the hourly wage, with a minimum guarantee of one hour.
A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including a $10,000 retention bonus distributed over a two-year agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cardiac Catheterization Specialist, you will provide expert cardiovascular care to patients, assisting physicians during various cardiovascular procedures. Your role will include:
- Preparing and maintaining the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
- Operating technical equipment and assisting with patient monitoring during procedures.
- Maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to safety protocols.
- Documenting all relevant procedural information, including EKG readings and medication administration.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing patients for emergency procedures and providing post-procedure information to patients and their families.
