Position Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a vital role within our clinical team, focusing on delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized practice dedicated to ear, nose, throat, and related health issues. This position is part of a renowned healthcare organization committed to enhancing the well-being of both adult and pediatric patients.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time (32 hours per week)
Daytime Hours
No Weekend Shifts Required
Educational Requirements:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
Experience Needed:
At least one (1) year of experience in a clinical environment or medical office is required. Experience in ENT or Allergy care is preferred.
Certifications:
Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program is essential.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly advantageous; basic computer skills are required.
Ability to carry out routine tasks with minimal oversight.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with colleagues, healthcare providers, patients, and their families.
A high degree of patience, tolerance, and professionalism is necessary to manage interactions under pressure.
