We are seeking a highly skilled Visitor Service Assistant to join our team at the Chickasaw Cultural Center. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

**Job Summary:**

This role involves providing exceptional customer service and knowledge about Native American culture and traditions. You will be responsible for conducting research, creating educational materials, and leading tours for visitors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct in-depth research on Native American history and culture to create accurate and engaging content.
  • Develop and lead educational programs and tours for visitors of all ages.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., anthropology, education, or museum studies).
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
