- Stay up-to-date with developments in science education, incorporating relevant technologies and methodologies to enhance teaching and learning.
- A valid Alaska teaching certificate with a focus on science education.
- Strong content knowledge in science, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced educational environment.
