Pennoni is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. As a CAD Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our Site/Civil projects by performing drafting functions and utilizing survey field data.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CAD drafting and utilize survey field data to create accurate and detailed drawings.
• Assist with the preparation of Land Development drawings, including grading, utility, and SWM / E&S plans.
• Prepare various forms of site/civil details and exhibits.
• Provide office support, including performing area, slope, and volume computations.
• Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.
• Perform field work on an as-needed basis, observing construction and assisting surveyors.
• Assist with obtaining relevant field data and measurements.
• Utilize relevant data to create workable construction blueprints.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

This position may require working in the field, so a valid driver's license is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or a related technical field of study.
• Proficiency with engineering/CADD tools, experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
• Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office software applications.
• Proven ability to utilize technical mathematics.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
