Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and staff with general patient care and clerical duties
- Provide administrative support, including data entry and basic office computer skills
- Stay current with healthcare and payor regulations
- Problem-solve and demonstrate initiative in day-to-day activities
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certification from an approved medical assisting program preferred
- Medical terminology required
- At least 100 hours of externship or 6 months of previous office/OP setting experience preferred
