About the Position:

BASIS Independent Schools is seeking a skilled Mathematics Educator to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for teaching Algebra, Geometry 1, and other math concepts to students in a dynamic and interactive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective lessons in Algebra and Geometry 1, as well as teach two sections of Grade 4 math.
  • Provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade standard, fostering academic achievement, personal responsibility, intellect, and individuality in all students.
  • Implement BASIS Curriculum by designing creative lessons and assessments to ensure students' education is at an internationally competitive level.
  • Tutor students in content-specific knowledge and skills to heighten the trajectory of students' academic and career success.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in the subject area, with a strong background in mathematics.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and engage students in rigorous content.
  • Creative instructional and classroom management strategies, with a high level of enthusiasm and motivation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $**115,000**, commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include career growth opportunities, retirement options, medical and dental insurance, and tuition remission for your children to attend our schools.
