Job DescriptionThe Nurse Care Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and experience. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
You will work closely with our patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and address complex health needs. Your expertise will contribute to creating a healing environment that extends beyond hospital walls, focusing on the unique requirements of each patient.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop effective care plans
- Care for patients across various age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- An active unencumbered Oregon RN license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- A basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers
- Effective written and oral communication skills
