Job Title: Principal Data Product Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Product Manager to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a key member of our Digital Informatics and Technology Solutions (DigITs) organization, you will be responsible for overseeing product strategy, execution, and adoption for large-scale digital solutions that support our employees, clinicians, researchers, and health consumers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align data product strategy with overall business goals and priorities.
  • Develop and execute a data product roadmap, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initiation and planning to delivery and adoption.
  • Validate data product ideas and establish a balanced framework for measuring the business impact of data product initiatives.
  • Engage with partners to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions on trade-offs between scope, budget, and timeline considerations.
  • Ensure consistent, repeatable delivery and drive continuous improvement of team workflows in key areas, including agile development, analytics, competitive intelligence, launch planning, and success measurement.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of data product management experience creating strategic product roadmaps, leading product execution, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with analytic data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir) strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment, SAFe certification a plus.
  • Experience with data product solutions, including experience working with data lake houses in a distributed hybrid and multi-cloud ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of various data ingestion, curation, and delivery/consumption approaches, as well as modern data operations and data security practices.
