Role Overview:
We are seeking a Logistics Technician in Jerome, ID.
The Logistics Technician is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment to accurately ship, process, and receive products to meet internal standards and external customer requirements.
Starting pay $20.64 $1.50 shift premium for night shift Double-time on Sundays Nights 5PM-5AM/Days 5AM-5PM Operate production equipment including robots, palletizers, and conveyor systems.
Utilize forklift trucks and pallet jacks to load and unload product shipments as well as delivery supplies.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Pallet jack and forklift certification required; in-house training to achieve certification provided. Minimum one (1) year of experience operating a forklift preferred. Slip Sheet Unit/ Powerlift Jack operation experience preferred.
Work Environment:
Our Jerome, ID, facility is home to approximately 400 employees and processes approximately 7 million pounds of milk per day.
This location produces various types of cheeses, such as mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, muenster, parmesan, romano, Monterey jack, gouda, and asiago.
They also run various whey streams, such as deproteinized whey, sweet dairy whey, GMP, permeate, instantized, and our top-rated BiPro products.
