Radiologic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team at The Miriam Hospital, part of Brown University Health. As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing complex imaging procedures, training students and staff, and ensuring quality results in a busy radiology department.

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated anatomical areas. You will be responsible for:
- Performing complex CT procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing patients.
- Ensuring high-quality results and proper documentation.
- Training fellow students and staff on imaging procedures and techniques.
- Utilizing advanced CT technology, including GE and Siemens scanners, and the GE Revolution Ascend Ulrich CT Motion Injector.

Requirements- R.I. State Radiology license and CT supplemental license from the Department of Health.
- Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
- Current CPR certification (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers).
- Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology, plus registration through ARRT.
- Six months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital radiology department, plus six months of specialized training in CT Scanner operation.
