Rheumatologist - Dermatology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Rheumatologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Dermatology Skin and Cancer Institute. As a Rheumatologist, you will play a vital role in treating patients with rheumatic conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, and osteoporosis.

• Treating patients with rheumatic conditions, including arthritis, back pain, and osteoporosis.
• Studying symptoms and evaluating effects on the immune system.
• Designing tailored treatment plans for patients.
• Assessing joint-related conditions and evaluating lab results.
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, performing physical examinations, and imaging scans.
• Prescribing medications and physical therapy, providing counseling and education to patients.
• Collaborating with primary care physicians and attending weekly patient care conferences.
• Applying medical knowledge to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Training, supervising, and evaluating staff members.
• Maintaining and updating medical records, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Obtaining medical authorizations and referrals for procedures, tests, and informal conferences.
• Overseeing facility compliance with government health and safety regulations.
• Providing continuous learning opportunities for students, residents, fellows, and other providers.
• Attending professional meetings and engaging in continuous medical education.
• Meeting regularly with staff to discuss workflow, operational problems, and patient care issues.
• Managing hospital regulatory compliance and developing professional relationships in the community.
