Job Title: X-Ray Technologist | Radiology

At CrossMed Allied, we are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to work in our Austell, Georgia location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of patients.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of waste properly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, and push, bend, and pull as needed.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
