Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team at Sentara Heart Hospital. The successful candidate will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants, providing exceptional patient care and didactic training.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures and device implants
  • Provide patient care to all electrophysiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of pertinent information
  • Deliver didactic and clinical training to staff members
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • High School Grad or Equivalent
  • Graduate of cardiovascular technology program or associate's degree
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
  • One year of related experience
