Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this role is $217,000 - $289,000, with bonus, equity, and benefits included. Our compensation ranges are determined by factors such as job title, location, and relevant experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of software engineers responsible for developing and maintaining the software infrastructure that captures and processes sensor data from health-monitoring devices deployed in real-world studies. This data fuels our Precision Health Platform, enabling data scientists to conduct large-scale analysis of digital biomarker data and predict the severity and progression of health conditions.

This role requires strong technical expertise and experience managing software development and engineering teams and projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams, delivering complex software projects on time and within budget, and possessing excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively.

The responsibilities of this role include leading a team of software engineers, overseeing software application development and maintenance, managing the software development process, and advocating for team members' needs. Additionally, the successful candidate will stay up-to-date on the latest software development trends.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SW, cloud engineering, ML engineering, or a related role.
  • Proven success in building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical skills in programming, software design, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
