The Physical Therapist is entrusted with the critical role of evaluating, planning, and delivering care to patients requiring physical therapy services.
This role mandates compliance with all regulations outlined in the Physical Therapy Practice Act, ensuring the provision of technical therapy care, necessary supplies, equipment, and interventions tailored to a specific patient demographic.
The therapist will cater to a diverse patient population, ranging from children and adolescents to elderly individuals, ensuring that care is administered with a keen awareness of the functional and developmental stages of each patient.
Active participation in the mission of CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital is expected, with an emphasis on embodying the organization’s core values. The associate will also play a vital role in supporting the strategic initiatives of CHRISTUS St. Patrick.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Current licensure in Louisiana is required. Completion of all Continuing Education Units (CEUs) is necessary to maintain licensure.
- Experience: Open to new graduates.
- Certifications: CPR certification, CPI Certification, FIM Certification.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $55.45 per hour
Work Environment: In-person engagement is required.
