About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Nashville General Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate routine radiography equipment, fluoroscopy, portable x-ray machines, and operating room imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient care services relevant to imaging procedures, including IV access starts and injection of contrast media.
  • Interact with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information.
  • Perform job duties with independence and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year accredited radiography program (JCERT accredited preferred)
  • Active certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible and obtain certification within the probationary hiring/employment period
  • BLS required
