Senior Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team at American House Senior Living Communities. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
• Engage residents in activities and social events to promote mental and physical stimulation
• Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the Wellness Director
• Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and move quickly to respond to emergencies
• Pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, TB test, and physical

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNA certification
• Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care
