Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Painter and Surface Preparation Specialist to join our team at All Wall Contracting, Inc. This is a dynamic opportunity for a highly motivated individual who can effectively prepare and paint various surfaces, ensuring a safe, proper, and timely completion of assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare various surfaces (buildings, handrails, floors, steps, etc.) by cleaning, sanding, patching, masking, filling nail holes, cracks, and joints to ensure they are ready for painting or refinishing.
  • Painting and Finishing: Operate all painting tools and associated equipment (sprayers, sanders, rollers, HVLP, conventional) to apply finishes and maintain facilities in an attractive, safe, comfortable, and operating condition.
  • Maintenance and Procurement: Maintain inventory and ensure availability of required items, including equipment and supplies, to support painting operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, field job superintendents, and other trades on the job site to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Must have own tools for the chosen trade and knowledge of how to use spray pumps, power washers, HVLP, and conventional equipment.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, high, precarious places, and extreme cold. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. Safety glasses and earplugs are required to be worn on the job site at all times.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
