We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cardiopulmonary care services to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
Key Responsibilities- Administer respiratory care and life support to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders.
- Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care, including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
- Utilize various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment, such as masks, tents, and incubators.
- Administer prescribed doses of medicinal gases and aerosol drugs.
- Measure ventilatory volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment.
- Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
- RRT license with ABG endorsement required.
- BLS health care provider within 30 days.
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year experience highly preferred.
