We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit team at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients, working collaboratively with our RNs and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct, evidence-based care to patients, performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services.
- Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the RN or physician.
- Perform lab and procedural tests within the scope of practice, after demonstrating competency.
- Document patient care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to support quality patient care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of employment start date.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) licensure.
- Vocational school graduate.
