About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer to join our team at Toole Design in Atlanta, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality transportation infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transportation infrastructure projects, including roadway design and active transportation initiatives
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver multimodal transportation solutions
  • Manage and coordinate utility, right-of-way, traffic signals, and landscape and hardscape layout
  • Develop construction documents and cost estimates
  • Analyze and design stormwater infrastructure, including experience with software such as HydroCAD or HydroFlow
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
  • Fundamentals of Engineering Certification (FE) required or the intent to obtain it within 1 year
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on roadway design and active transportation
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, or a willingness to learn
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
