Job Description

DCPCA is seeking a highly skilled Cancer Navigation Specialist to join our innovative and growing department. This role will play a critical part in improving clinical and patient outcomes through the implementation of evidence-based services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of patient navigators and provide training, technical assistance, and guidance to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Collaborate with local and national agencies, subject matter experts, and member clinics to identify best practices and evidence-based approaches for enhancing navigation services.
  • Aggregate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support project activities and reporting purposes.
  • Lead the dissemination of resources to health center staff and regional bodies to achieve project-specific goals.
  • Support administration of program grants and deliverables, including coordination of project activities, tracking deadlines, and reporting.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience working in cancer navigation with healthcare operations, including experience with community health centers or hospitals.
  • Excellent meeting-facilitation skills and proven ability to teach others and conduct training for adult audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly gather information and propose solutions.
  • High degree of proficiency with MS Office products and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) software.
