Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients with disabilities adapt to their environment and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and administer assessment tools to evaluate patients' functional abilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' deficits and promote functional adaptation
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • NJ State Occupational Therapy License
  • Maintained registration by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
  • AHA BLS Provider Certification
  • Twelve-week pediatric affiliation or pediatric experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Certifications and Licenses Required:
  • NJ State Occupational Therapy License
  • AHA BLS Provider Certification
  • American Occupational Therapy Certification Board registration
  • NBCOT registration
Work Environment:

This is a per diem position, working evenings and occasional weekends. You will be based at our Bayonne Outpatient location, where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families.
