The Emergency Communications Specialist is responsible for managing and processing requests for both urgent and routine assistance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Dispatching medical, fire, and other agency resources as necessary.
  • Prioritizing urgent calls and acting as a liaison between callers and emergency responders.
  • Operating communication systems and computer equipment effectively.
  • Preparing necessary documentation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned to support the team.

This role is set in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that emphasizes teamwork. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to remain composed under pressure, possess strong customer service skills, and effectively manage multiple tasks while coordinating with various agencies.

  • Availability to work in a 24/7 environment, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
