Electrical Lineman

CORE Electric Cooperative is seeking a skilled Electrical Lineman to join our District Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the performance of labor necessary for the construction and maintenance of electrical distribution and transmission lines.

This is a union position, subject to the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and governed by CORE's rules, regulations, policies, and applicable state and federal law.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties that are semi-routine involving an intensive practical knowledge of duties related to electric power lines.
• Work independently and as part of a crew to complete tasks and projects.
• Plan and arrange own work, receiving general direction from the Line Superintendent.
• Communicate effectively with consumers and members to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least four years of apprenticeship training as a Lineman II or apprentice in the construction and maintenance of electric transmission and distribution lines.
• A valid unrestricted class A Colorado Commercial Driver's License and a DOT medical certificate are required and must be maintained.
