Job Summary

Mountain Park Health Care is seeking a skilled Nurse Educator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing education and training to nursing and clinical support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: Develop and implement educational programs for nursing and clinical support staff, including orientation programs for new staff members and ongoing training to maintain competency.
  • Curriculum Development: Design and conduct educational programs to meet the needs of nursing and clinical support staff, including training on new policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Staff Development: Assess the educational needs of nursing and clinical support staff and develop plans for learning experiences to meet those needs.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to nursing and clinical support staff, including mentoring and coaching to support their professional development.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with department managers and resource staff to prioritize staff development needs and establish directional goals for clinic staff development.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Nurse with associate degree in Nursing.
  • Experience: At least two years of professional RN experience.
  • Licensure: Current unencumbered Arizona R.N. License.
  • Certification: Current CPR certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience: Nursing experience with clinical focus.
