American Traveler is seeking a skilled Traveling Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN in Telemetry. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Telemetry unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Current professional license as required by the state.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Valid BLS through the American Heart Association.
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions.
- RN positions require at least one year of recent experience in the specialty and a like setting.
