Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the organization's mission and values by providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate and deliver general and psychiatric nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care.
  • Act as a patient advocate, promoting autonomy, dignity, and respect for all patients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training.
  • Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
  • CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, particularly those with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients. Additionally, experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations is highly valued.
