Thoracic Surgeon

Our Section of Pulmonary Medicine is recognized for its exceptional quality, and we collaborate with a regional gastroenterology group that boasts a strong community outreach. This partnership has established our program as a regional center of excellence in thoracic disease management and minimally invasive surgery.

This position offers a highly competitive salary guarantee: $313,000 per year, equivalent to $300.00 - $340.00 per hour. Additionally, we provide paid relocation expenses and access to a range of benefits.

As an academic Thoracic Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, conducting thorough medical examinations and histories, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, and collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic interest and a desire to educate and participate in research. You will report to the Division Chief of Thoracic Surgery and CHI Health Chair of Surgery.
