Job Title: Directional Drill Locator at Team Fishel

Job Overview: Team Fishel is experiencing robust growth in the Lawrenceburg, IN region and is looking for skilled individuals to fill the role of Directional Drill Locator. With over 84 years of industry experience, we are expanding our footprint across the United States. As a Directional Drill Locator, you will play a vital role in guiding drill operators by interpreting signals from underground transmitters related to location, angle, temperature, and other critical parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all locating functions of the project as directed by the Drill Operator.
  • Engage in physically demanding construction activities.
  • Assist team members in the placement of underground pipes, conduits, and perform manual labor, including shoveling and operating power tools.
  • Exhibit basic skills in operating drilling equipment.
  • Work collaboratively within a team setting.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in underground utility operations is preferred.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions.
  • Strong manual dexterity and machinery control.
  • Capability to perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, digging, and reaching.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and position heavy materials.
