Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify students with communication and language disorders. Develop and implement appropriate assessment tools and interpret the results accurately.
- Treatment and Intervention: Design and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings. Deliver direct therapy services aimed at enhancing students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and other staff members to address students' communication needs effectively. Provide guidance and training to support staff on strategies to assist students in the classroom.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain precise records of student progress, therapy sessions, and assessment outcomes. Prepare necessary documentation for educational planning meetings.

Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
- Certification: Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Experience: Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings is highly valued. Proven experience in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for various communication disorders.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff. Familiarity with technology for documentation and telepractice is advantageous.
- Other Requirements: Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to the unique needs of each student. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all learners.
