Role Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled bather to enhance our grooming team. Bathers play a crucial role in our operations, delivering essential services that contribute to the overall grooming experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of all dogs
  • Being attentive to the needs of both dogs and team members
  • Following strict hygiene and sanitation protocols
  • Maintaining a tidy workspace throughout the grooming process
  • Cleaning up any pet messes as they occur
  • Preparing, bathing, and finishing dogs to high standards
  • Employing thorough techniques for bathing, drying, and finishing
  • Trimming nails and cleaning ears
  • Expressing anal glands as needed
  • Assisting colleagues and staff whenever necessary
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of various dog breeds, body language, and coat types
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to facility software
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining service quality
  • Conflict resolution skills with a diplomatic approach
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
