Primary Care Physician Specialist

**Job Title:** Primary Care Physician Specialist
**Salary Range:** $200,000 - $300,000 per year
We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician Specialist to join our team at TAL Healthcare. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation and management of acute and chronic medical conditions for adults
- Advising patients on treatment recommendations and lifestyle modifications
- Ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests using high-value care principles and evidence-based medicine
- Prescribing treatments and medication in an evidence-based manner and within the scope of licensure
- Referring patients to consultant services when necessary
- Engaging in health promotion activities and recruitment efforts for the site
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree and board eligible/certified
- Successful completion of an accredited residency training program in internal medicine or family medicine
- Current and valid NYS license
- Current DEA certificate
- Updated BLS and infection control certificate
- Excellent bedside manner
- Working knowledge of primary HIV medical care and LGBTQI care is a plus
