Position Overview & Responsibilities

This role involves working under the direct supervision of a physician, where you will prepare patients and operate advanced hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment during both diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for:

  • Continuously monitoring vital signs, EKG, and pressure recordings.
  • Analyzing intercardiac electrograms and documenting findings accurately.
  • Providing both direct and indirect patient care.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records and documentation.
  • Performing additional duties as necessary to support the cardiac electrophysiology laboratory's daily operations.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with one of the following:
    • A Bachelor's degree in biological science or a related clinical health field OR
    • A minimum of one year of relevant cardiovascular experience.
  • Preferred skills include the ability to perform hemodynamic and electrophysiologic monitoring and calculations.
  • Certifications such as RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist), or IBHRE (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners) are preferred at the time of hire or within two years of employment.
  • BLS certification is required.

Scheduled Hours: 9 AM - 7:30 PM
Salary Range: $42.83 per hour
