Job Description

Vibra Travels is seeking a skilled travel nurse to fill a position in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) department. As a travel nurse with Vibra Travels, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate travel nurse to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an ICU setting, with a strong focus on patient care and safety. As a travel nurse with Vibra Travels, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, develop your clinical skills, and contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, with a focus on safety and patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to the success of the ICU team, through active participation in team meetings and collaborative problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
  • Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (e.g. ACLS, PALS, NRP).
  • 1 full year of RN experience; Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
