Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor

At Neighborhood Health Center, we're committed to providing high-quality care to diverse individuals and families. As a Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in leading our LPN desk nurses and MA support team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily oversight and guidance to the LPN desk nurses and MA support team.
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members by communicating effectively and participating in team problem-solving methods.
  • Collaborate with other nursing supervisors to recruit, schedule, train, and develop nursing staff.
  • Develop and maintain training protocols for all positions within the nursing department.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed to ensure a cohesive nursing team.
  • Intercede to support patients in clinical issues and complaints, and assist in de-escalating and documenting resolutions.
  • Function as a Licensed Practical Nurse in direct patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
  • Five years of nursing experience.
  • Current NYS LPN license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Superb organizational skills.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiative.
  • Results-oriented, creative, and persistent in accomplishing tasks.
  • Solutions-driven with a systems orientation.
  • Highly responsive, timely, accurate, and thorough in follow-up and follow-through.
  • Highly flexible, positive, and results-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent in managing shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Outstanding project and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using document management software.
  • Proficiency in Adobe and database management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion.
Compensation:

$25.50 to $27.50 per hour (based on a full-time, 40-hour work week). Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position-related components.

This position offers a sign-on bonus for external hires, paid in installments throughout the employee's successful first year of employment.
